Walk-In Clinic
It is our hope that by offering non-appointment hours that we will increase the accessibility to our medical staff to those who are in need of more "same day care" such as sore throats, ear infections, bladder infections, medication renewals, blood pressure checks, fevers, flu-like illnesses, emergency contraception or medication administration (eg. Depo-Provera). Pregnancy testing and STI testing is also appropriate although follow-up appointments may be necessary.

Clients requesting complete birth control counselling, annual physical exams, well baby checks, more in-depth mental health assessment and counselling or anything else that may take longer than 15-20 minutes will be asked to book an appointment with a medical provider.

Walk-In Clinic Hours:
Tuesday 5:30-7:00 pm
Friday 1:00-4:00 pm

Contraception Sales
The Youth Centre's clients may purchase birth control pills and the contraceptive patch at the clinic for a reduced rate provided they have seen either The Youth Centre Physician or Nurse Practitioner for a physical examination, have received health teaching and agree to return to The Youth Centre for appropriate follow-up care.

Contraception Sales Times:
Tuesdays 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Thursdays 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Fridays 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Free condoms are also available for youth who need them.
