During adolescent development, teens experience many changes. It is the job of the parent to properly support their teens through these changes. When teens become adults, they are responsible for their own well-being, and it is their own values that will motivate their decisions. To be confident in your teen’s decision-making abilities, your purpose as a parent is to

  • foster meaningful qualities through respect and proper discipline.

  • teach responsibility.

  • help teens develop self-esteem, skills, and character.

  • help them feel loved.

This module will describe the different parenting styles and provide parenting tips and practices to raise a healthy teenager.
