The Youth Centre has nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians who are able to meet with you, free-of-charge via a booked appointment, a same day appointment or during one of our walk in clinics. They are able to provide you with information to make healthy choices and answer your questions. Our medical team provides primary care which can include; STI and pregnancy testing, physicals, pap tests, routine immunizations, TB skin tests, annual flu shots, smoking cessation programs or referrals to specialist when required. Clinicians can provide treatment for common illnesses including bladder infections, ear infections, sore throats, and chest and skin infections free of charge. Providers also complete assessments and treatment for depression, anxiety and eating disorders. We offer prenatal and postnatal care, including pregnancy testing and options counselling and provide well baby support, assess development and growth, and immunizations for children. Walk-In Clinic

Walk in clinic appointments are available 3 afternoons per week for minor concerns such as; sore throats, ear infections, bladder infections, fevers, flu-like illnesses, emergency contraception, birth control renewals, pregnancy or STI testing , although follow-up appointments may be necessary and at the discretion of the medical provider. Clients requesting physical exams, well baby checks, forms to be completed, mental health assessments or anything that may take longer than 15-20 minutes will be asked to book an appointment with a medical provider.

Contraception Sales

The Youth Centre's clients may purchase birth control at the centre for a reduced cost, if they have a prescription from one of the medical team members.

Free condoms are also available anytime for youth who need them

24 Hour On-call Service

24 hour on-call services are available for clients registered at The Youth Centre.
